This privacy policy explains how the Araf mobile application collects, uses, stores, and shares user data.
Araf may process the following data to provide the app's features:
Araf does not collect contacts, location, camera, microphone, or user files except where necessary for card creation or user-initiated sharing/download features.
Users may sign in to Araf using email/password or a Google account.
The email address is used to create the user account, sign in, track card creation allowance, and associate subscription information with the user account.
If the user chooses Google Sign-In, the authentication information provided by Google is used only to verify the user and sign the user in to their Araf account.
Araf offers in-app subscriptions through Google Play Billing.
Payments are processed by Google Play. Araf does not see or store credit card numbers, debit card numbers, or payment account details.
Araf only processes whether a subscription is active, which plan is used, subscription/quota status, and purchase verification information provided by Google Play.
Subscription cancellation and payment management are handled through the user's Google Play account.
Information entered by the user to create a card may be sent through Araf's backend service to the Anthropic API in order to generate personalized card messages.
This information is used to generate a title, main message, and short closing sentence.
Araf does not use this content for advertising, user profiling, or third-party marketing.
Created cards, favorites, card history, and certain app preferences may be stored locally on the user's device.
Users may delete local data using the "delete all my data" option inside the app or by clearing the app data from device settings.
Araf may store user account information, subscription status, quota information, referral ID, and share/click counters on its backend server and database.
This data is used to operate the app, protect subscription rights, prevent misuse, and measure user-based sharing performance.
Users may download card images or share them through apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, X, and similar services.
Shared images or share text may include an araf.io link. Visits through this link may be counted using an anonymous referral ID.
For example, Araf may measure how many times a user's shared link was clicked or how many visitors went from that link to the Google Play/App Store download page.
This tracking is used to measure sharing performance and download referrals, not for advertising targeting.
Araf may use the following third-party services:
These services are governed by their own privacy policies.
Araf does not currently use an advertising network.
User data is not sold to third-party advertising networks and is not used to create advertising profiles.
If advertising, analytics, or additional marketing tools are added in the future, this privacy policy will be updated.
Araf processes user data over secure connections and applies reasonable technical measures against unauthorized access.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely risk-free.
Users may delete local app data using the data deletion option inside the app.
Signed-in users may also initiate account deletion directly inside the app. This deletes the user's Araf account, active sessions, and non-subscription server-side app data associated with that account.
Users may also use the following account and data deletion request page, or contact alfucode@gmail.com for assistance: https://araf.io/delete-account.html
Payment and subscription records may be retained for certain periods due to Apple App Store, Google Play, legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution requirements.
Araf is not specifically designed for children.
Araf does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a parent or legal guardian believes that data belonging to a child has been processed, they may contact us.
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page.
